An active BECCS project is the Archer Daniels Midland project in Illinois, which captures carbon and uses it to enhance oil recovery in nearby wells. The project removes more than 1 million tons of carbon dioxide from the atmosphere annually.Biological Carbon Sequestration. These technologies engineer biological building blocks of plants and other systems to take in more CO2, thereby reducing levels in the atmosphere. Experiments are under way to create plants with an increased appetite for carbon dioxide, Gordon says. When the tree is dry, it loads and when it is wet, it releases CO2 back. Keep any mention of high school off your resume. 8. Extra pages.  If youre in your twenties, your resume should only be one page; theres not enough experience to justify a second one. If youre older, two pages are fine, but you go over that limit at your own peril. The solution to this dearth in applications, suggests a lawyer at Denton Wilde Sapte (which solicitors ranked among the top 10 firms for minorities), is to extend recruitment to non-traditional academic institutions. An associate at Cliffor d Chance (No. 8 on the same ranking) agrees that broader outreach produces results:Along with the friendliness, I would say this is the other trait that stands Clifford Chance out from the rest. Although it does have a proportion of Oxbridge students, the majority of its trainees are the cream of the crop from universities such as Leeds, Manchester, LSE, Kings, Birmingham, Sheffield, etc, which helps the friendliness of the firm.In that context, its interesting to note that according to The Lawyers survey, nearly half (44 percent) of UK lawyers dont think law firms should reach out to less prestigious universities.
